Soon it will rise out of the view of the 57th street cam. I hope they'll adjust the angle.

It is, indeed so.

Slow compared to expectations maybe but slow in absolute terms? I wouldn't think so. It seems to be about a week per floor.

I've always been skeptical of the 4 day floors. I'll believe they can do things that fast when I see it.

But a floor per week will have this thing rise very quickly. I think having 24/7 webcams just makes us a bit impatient.

Yeah, there was a van on the site with the Portuguese flag on it a few months back.

Some weeks ago, they reached a speed of 5-day cycle (working days) then they slowed down and they are in about a 7 or 8 day cycle. They jumped the core yesterday and the last before that was june 6th, eleven days before (a 9 day cycle, taking off two sundays)
The point is, that they had reached at least a 5-day cycle before, maybe they will reach it again.

This, One57, Tower Verre and the others proposed are going to change New Yorks skyline beyond measure. I can't wait

ok, thanks for the explanation.

From what I can see of the different stages and pours I can't imagine that they can ever go faster than the 5 day cycle and I think generally they won't go even that fast. It has to get harder the higher up they go, no?

Forms have been raised this morning and a pour is going on. Both external elevators will have to be raised. 57th Street cam needs to be repositioned now.

External elevators have been jumped. Plenty of work going on around the core. It looks like there may be a pour going on from the Park Avenue cam, but I can't be sure because the 57th Street cam has yet to be raised.

Lots more windows just arrived on a truck.

Speaking of windows - there placement seems pretty eratic so far. Some spots have them and some don't - seemingly in no order.
