It's by sheer coincidence that it's height might be the same as it's address. 432 Park Avenue is the building's address. It's height will be anywhere from 411-433m tall.

Even then, America doesn't use Metric, so by you guys' logic, this thing should be called 1350 Park Avenue or 1420 Park Avenue.
Who said the height had anything to do with the address. What did the guy above you do wrong?

Corey didn't do anything wrong. But he and another poster about a week ago are insinuating that this tower's address is equivalent to it's height in meters, which it isn't. I was just clearing it up.

OMG what a boring box of a building. I'm certainly no lover of twisty freaks but a shere tall box is just so banal.
And to think they destroyed some lovely old buildings for this crap!
Glad I live in Europe where we respect the past, New York used to be great but it's obvious that spec. greed is still the god of that city, no wonder Wall street has such a bad reputation.

"used to be great" it still is. I live in europe but nothing( and most people will agree) can compare to New York City.

Unless I'm blind or this article is totally fake, then I'm assuming that would be its height..

The site of the former Drake Hotel, recently named the most valuable development lot in the city, will be home to a 1,420-foot tall residential tower, the tallest in the city.

I have learned to trust this site more than some reporter who churns out ten similar public interest stories each week. It might actually be / end up being that height, but I don't trust it as a reliable source.

Right now we know for sure only that it'll be at least 1300 feet

You have a good point. I never trust an exact building height until I see blueprints. And then they can be revised at a later time.

It is plain, but very tall! With good cladding, this will look impressive. Though, I must admit, it does look a little like a filler building from a science fiction movie of the future.

The thing that's interesting about it is that it wil appear to be six mid-rise towers floating in air and stacked one upon the other. That being said, it's no Torre Verre.

It's still in the demo/excavation stage.

The tower will be prefab, it's being made in the outskirts of Rotterdam as we speak

Dear lord, several boxes of that height stacked upon each other is quite a disturbing prospect...
