Sorry I wasn't able to give yesterday's update, I've been out of town. From what I can see, they've raised the North forms and have begun tear

Sorry I wasn't able to give yesterday's update, I've been out of town. From the looks of it, they've raised the North forms and begun removing netting on the South and East facades.

This is cool, but some observations.
The first (ground) floor wont be taller than the others, Or better said, although it is a double height floor, the apertures of the first level have exactly the same size as the ones in the upper floors.
Also, at the top, the last beam will be the same size as all the others, it won't be thicker.
Finally, I counted 82 apparent floors (the ones you get by counting windows) but this tower will have 90 apparent floors. Each floor is 15,5 feet, the total height is 1398 ft. 1398 / 15,5 = 90,2 or 90 floors. The actual floor count is different since there are a few double height floors.

The 15,5 feet height is between slabs or apartment height?

I was basing off SkyscraperPage. We don't worry much about the floor count when we make diagrams back in the scale models section. But here i fixed it...i think.

You must've been using the old diagram on SkyscraperPage. I don't know about you, but I simply must always have the correct figures in my models and diagrams so you really couldn't say that for the whole SM section.

I counted your floors and your still missing a few, 6 to be even with 89 floor and 7 with 90.

Your diagram should look somewhere along the lines of mine,

Too bad they resigned the thicker top. A little thing, but would make nice visual closure. Now a tower suddenly stops without any aesthetic finish.

So does Sears and the old WTC, but they are/were great supertalls.

Both had horizontal bars at the top, adding an 'end'. This doesn't.

Actually both have/had a "finish":

Exactly guys. Those are little details that makes quite a big impact on general impression a building make on you.

They should have put either a full concrete floor at the top, or a column in the middle of each window, cutting the squares in half. I have to say, I like this one far better than the current design:

No, don't 'cut' the windows in half. It doesn't improve the design, but it would impact the view from inside.

I believe he was referring to the up most windows of the buildings, which also I believe are not occupied maybe a mech floor, because on the renderings on the 432PA website, you can see straight through the windows to the roof/sky.

What floor or window hole is the concrete formwork on? I am trying to make a construction diagram to get the precise height as of now. I'll compare it to 450 PA.

I hope it can be done...
anyway, I still continue to believe the 432 park avenue is not very well located...
there are many buildings hiding it...

I think it actually has a parapet at the top.

Well do you guys have any proof for that? I'd like to believe you but even renders on the official site doesn't show any parapet.
