Btw patrykus, I dunno, but from what I know the core together with its climbing forms is currently at a height of 2 floors above the MEP, which would indicate that the perimeter would atm be exactly in the middle of the MEP. I could be wrong of course, but the building has currently 35 apparent floors (apparent floor is one window square)

It has 32 floors (not counting the core).

Yup, with that I agree since the core is 3 floors tall. 32 without it, 35 with it

So is then the drawing on SSP wrong in where exactly the 2nd MEP will be?

This is correct model. SSP is wrong because the first mep there starts at 16th floor instead of 21th.

So no, perimeter construction is not at the MEP right now and it's at least two floors (depending how you count it) away from it since it starts at 35th floor.

450 Park Avenue is a remarkable building, btw. , doesn't deserve to be totally eclipsed by its new neighbour.

Will this block be completed at the end, I haven't seen it in any renders or models?

Could get some pretty cool photos from the balcony

Yes, that is a retail section of the building. It's not visible anymore, but on the old 57th street camera, this area was a big open hole in the ground.

432 Park Avenue's rising fast. I especially love the square windows. And is it just me or did they adjust all cams?

I will try to upload a more accurate diagram of the tower on SSP.

Thanks, CNTower. Diagrams always help a lot.

After we have a diagram to add to the ones we have on the page, we can find out how many windows 432 Park Avenue has. Can anyone find the answer right now?

There are 2304 windows if you were to just count the tower portion it self, without the 6 floor balcony on the 57th Street side.

I have uploaded a rather accurate diagram on SSP now, it is just pending approval.
If it is approved, please tell me if something is inaccurate so I may correct it.

Thanks for the info!

Does anyone know why most of the tower's glass has netting on it? Why can't they reveal the glass panels?

I would assume you are speaking of the plastic wrapping on the glass? It is a protective covering so the glass does not get damage or scratched.

Why didn't they do that with One World Trade Center, or basically every building in the world that has a glass facade? Is it because this tower's glass is extremely expensive?

I think he is speaking about the orange netting. If so the answer is.. there is no windows there yet Some of the windows that are installed are wrapped but in white plastic not netting for the reasons CNTower described.

I meant the orange netting. There's green netting? Where?

Oh, the orange netting is what I believe Patrykus is talking about, he must've gotten the colors mixed up. There is no green netting. But yes the orange netting is there because there are no windows there, and for safety purposes.

Yes, exactly, the perimeter is still two floors behind the second MEP, and the roof of the climbing system is on the floor of the MEP, as I point in this blueprint I posted some weeks ago...

I guess that's way is it taking a little longer as usual for this core jump, there must be something special because of the MEP.
