what's in cards, nobody knows. about any good news, fingers crossed!
but i'm jaundiced with what seems to have happened to nordstrom and the obstinate pattern nyc proposals are holding at just above 400 meter mark

This diagram shows that One World Trade Center is not anything special compared to other skyscrapers. Wish it was much higher

Well I find it much more atractive than many taller towers, height isn't all bud. Of all the 400+ shown, I think only ICC and SWFC can rivalize in terms of design.

I think everything but AAB can rival 1WTC in that photo.

Gorgeous.

Also, that's the first I've seen of a peaked roof on top of the "apple store" cube. Can anyone tell if that's permanent, or an example of a rooftop pavilion one might set up for a party?

Awesome!

This place will be amazing. I wonder when/if that famous 432 PA promo vid will be released?? I swear.. I would never set foot outside of this building. NEVER EVER!

Hmm! I wonder if anyone could seem me taking a shower in there.

I think I would be nervous sitting next to a Mega Billionaire watching a flick

What part of the tower project is this?? Looks to be in a separate building??

Thanks you just answered my question. That would be cool if that rooftop will be final for that cubed building. That building looks to be pretty tall than what I imagined the cubed building would be.

That would cover that blank wall pretty much of that black building (Franklin Nat'l) adjacent to it.

The peaked roof is the commercial building on 57th street. In some of the renders of the base, there was a glass "Apple" cube cornering Park Avenue and 56th street. Whether a cube goes there or not is in the air I'd imagine. The 57th street and Park Avenue areas are two different things.

Top red circle is the 57th street commercial area. Bottom red circle is the plaza area with the "Apple" cube. Two different areas, just for orientation.

Oh shoot, I'm all disoriented, but thanks for clarifying. Interesting that we haven't seen really either low-rise part of the project featured much in interviews/press clippings. What do we know about the commercial building?

I'd sell my soul to live like that. Just beautiful interior pics. The pool and pool room are just cool as hell.

Those renders show the large spaces and the luxuriousness, but I think a bit more warmth might make a better impression.
