120 floors on a 1400 footer? Lol yeah right. The WTC had 110 floors on 1360ft and that was really pushing it.

Usually office floors are taller than residential floors and if the Twins (office) could have had 110 floors with 417/415 meters then 432 Park (residential) having 120 floors with 433 meters is definitely feasible in my opinion

Sure, it's not impossible to reach 120 floors but it is quite unlikely for me.
On the other side it would be cool indeed

Who knows, maybe they'll use the same "trick" as so many did before like on One57 or the Trump World Tower: 85 real floors, but advertised as a 100 storey building.

With 1WTC and the ESB New York has two towers with over 100 floors, Chicago has the Willis tower and the John Hancock Center both with more than 100 floors, so if 432 Park Avenue gets more than 100 floors, New York has three towers over 100 floors ( again ) The most in America.

Yeah, and both ESB and JHC are <400m to roof.

Well, the 1,127 feet tall JHC with 100(!) floors is really pushing it!

Well, let's throw some money in the pot! My bet: $50. 85 real floors, 100 advertised. If I loose, I'll donate the money to a charity (as I planned to do anyway...).

I'd really love for this tower to be around 260m. It's far more likely to be cancelled than to have that kind of decrease in height, so just to be clear, I don't expect at all that it'll happen, I'm merely stating what I'd love to happen.

I just really don't like this building as a 400m+ monster. For me, the taller the building, or rather the more noticeable, the more interesting and impressive it's design must be. As one of the many 200m-300m classy towers of Manhattan it could be a gem. A tower over 200m+ most places would have to be far more impressive and interesting than in NYC.

I don't think so, in every city a 200m tower have to be impressive, including NYC and Hong Kong and Chicago enz. It would be a shame if architects who design a tower in NYC design a simple box, only because it is NYC.

The big box though, you have to admit, kind of fits in.

Only in the greatest city in the world with the greatest skyline could people complain about a new 400m tower!

Well, it seems like it'll be an ugly or at least really plain 400m tower, so there's more than enough reason to complain.

It amazes me how unsophisticated people can be to not appreciate a 400m tower that's this thin and has a strctural facade. This tower will be magnificent.
