Absolutely

The bus doesn't stop moving going through the park as you will literally have 2 seconds b4 trees block it's view. lol.,

Next time I'll get off a stop earlier and trek over near the center of the park where it is visible & take some shots for ya.

Yes, they started a while ago with the cladding.

So one feet away from beating the Four Seasons Hotel.
It's still the 50th in NY and the 145th tallest in the US.

99m to surpass One57, that was a short lived record that One57 had. (tallest residential in town)

There is another one going on right now. There are already taller projects under development like 217 West 57th.

I wonder how many more buildings this has just overtook with the new core jump?

You can really start see 432's dominance on the 59th Street cam
Yup it will be interesting to see, Kanto should be along to post another update on his diagram soon so we'll see exactly what its overtook thus far

With the last jump it overtook 66 towers in the world, including the Marina Bay Sands rooftop pool in Singapore.

this Tower is so anti....all other Tower want to look modern...this Tower Looks oldfashioned and because of ist altitude already so progressiv...i am sure that 432 will be the beginning of many other supertall...
is this form of the Tower tested in the wind? I tought a round form ist much better, if it is going over 350 m?

Technically speaking the Beekman Tower (870ft/265m) is the tallest residential tower in NYC. According to CTBUH rules a building needs to have at least 85% residential floor space to be classified as residential. One57 is mixed-use.

I am sure, many tourists will be suprised to see this tower, towering this tall over it´s neighbors. Cuz, i don´t think many will be aware of it. Same will happen to the Nordstrom - and Steinway Tower. New York´s gonna blow minds.

I remember me, walking around the area several times, and suddenly i saw the AT&T Building, this blew me away like hell, let alone something this tall.
I doubt most tourists will care about the tower. ESB will always be the main icon and buildings like the Chrysler definitely are famous tourist attractions too, but 432 Park Ave will never become a tourist attraction. If the tower comes into a tourist's view because he's walking near by it or standing on a observation deck, he might take a look at it and think "Wow, that's huge", but then quickly goes on and look for the ESB or Chrysler.
