A little low there. Core is 208 metres and perimeter forms are 203 metres.

New diagram for 432PA on SkyscrapePage,I like this one way better than the other ones not to slim, thick, short, tall, dirty brown concrete, glassy, or steel like, it's perfect, it now looks kinda of like its three siblings, 217,111,and one57.

Awesome model, CNTower!

On site, they're pouring right now. I thought they were going to do a core jump today. Though I hope they still will do it today, I doubt it will happen until tomorrow.

They'll probably jump the core after they have poured the perimeters? And will they work tomorrow seeing as it's New Years Eve?

Now's a good time to look at the 56th Street cam, guys. It's cool to watch work on the 56th and Park corner lot facility.

Ok, it is NOT my favourite building.
But it will definitely stand out.

Happened to walk by the site today - here's the alleged "Apple" facility...not looking particularly Apple-ish (though based on the graphics on the construction fence, maybe it's going to be a piano store! )

I'm not sure it's actually going to be an Apple facility, I just refer to it as such because that's how it looks in renderings.

Of course, I realize that...and I agree, the renderings I remember seeing of the retail section definitely did give it that "Apple" look, but other than the basic proportions, this skeleton doesn't seem to have much in common with those early drawings (none of which I can find now...)

Have you seen anything more recent?

Oh god please don't tell me they changed it into a parking garage.
Oh wait the parking garage is underground

Nobody ever said it would be an apple box.

It think it will still be clad in glass, however.

Exactly. Man, I hope coining that term for that building hasn't confused everyone. Months ago we jokingly referred to it as an Apple facility.

Yes, good point, it is not an Apple store. There is one close by on fifth avenue anyway.

Just something I did for fun, I may or may not turn it into a construction diagram.

By the way to Shakker and LAF2, my diagram used to be the primary one when I uploaded it sometime ago, but then they changed it to J. Eduardo's drawing, I guess they changed it back to mines.

While the design is crap alone, it wouldn't be bad as a unique building in the skyline (as long as others don't follow suit)
