Strange seeing the first non-straight line in this tower...

Happy New Year Gang! Here's wishing an amazing & healthy year for all ya freaks!

I honestly don't see a same design at all except the windows. The quality of the concrete and materials of 432 PARk are wolrds better than that building.

The vent floors add a nice touch as well. IMO, that building is not even comparable other than the windows.

From that one picture I immediately understand how the mech floors willl like. Plus it shows how much the outer walls bear weight. These mech floors are really a great addition with so much potential to do more with them.

Agree on this, the mechanical levels are a very nice addition to this tower.

Come on , it looks like the grandfather of 432 W. Park Ave. and is designed by the same Architect anyways.........he just recycled one of his older designs and improved upon on it.

This is nothing like the Twin Towers apart from the fact it's square.

432 Park is better because the windows are much larger. 6 per floor per side, it would have been a failure if there were more and smaller windows. Luckily the floors are so high.

Happy new year. Here are the next buildings in NYC it has passed. It is now officially taller than all its immediate neighbors.

Will the mechanical floors be open to residents to go into? From the looks of the pics, the curved treatments look more decorative than practical/structural.

With the last jump today, the core is now 45 apparent floors, and each floor is 15.5 feet tall, so the total height is 697.5 feet, so it's halfway done!
Hopefully, by New Years 2015 this will be topped out.

yeah im glad but it is still smaller in terms of shear size the old towers had at least 4.5 million sq feet the new one has like 3.5- 3.6 maybe that stick on top should have been a little meatier so as to not dissapear in the distance but 20 mill is 20 mill
