This building is so skinny! How many apartments and/or condos will be on each floor?

I can only imagine what 111 west 57 will look like, I seen somebody post a few pages back that 432 Park Ave. is a toothpick and 111 west 57 is hair.

It's probably something like 3 1/2 to 4 of 432 Park's windows in width.

That varies per floor. I've seen some floor plans here. It varies from 3 or 4 to 1 per floor.
The top floors probably all have 1 apartment per floor.

Could even be one apartment over 2 floors. (with internal stairs)

There is no reason why the top two residential floors could not be designed as a 2 story apartment. The floor plans shown might be representations of possible floor plan layouts and could be subject to change. If the developer (Macklowe) feels that the demand was there for a two-story apartment penthouse (if there was a firm commitment from a potential buyer), the design could proceed. As there is plenty of time before the highest structural floors are completed, the interior fit-out of such a unit could still be possible. At 8,255 square feet of living space per floor, a two-story apartment would yield some 16,510 square feet of living space. Anybody care to imagine the price of such a unit? At about 10,000 dollars/sq. ft. it would cost a staggering 165 million dollars. (price based on 2013 prices of 85 million dollars for unit 95 times 2).

I'm sure you can get a 2 story apartment if you got the money.

Hi, I am surprised at its thinness. No doubt any swaying factor in high winds has been taken into account. There will be some movement obviously higher up as you go. With wind tunnel testing etc. does anyone know what the parameters for swaying are ? That nauseous feeling is not pleasant, plus the psychology of having a building saying in high winds is not pleasant.

Around October of 2012 for core rebar. The perimeter rebar was there a few months earlier.

I went to West 57th Street over the past couple of days (and nights; I stayed at a hotel at West 57th) and saw 432 Park Avenue, and let me tell you, the building was really fat. It may not be as fat as the Hearst Tower (in fact, its footprint is probably 4 times 432 Park Avenue's), but it takes a tall tower to make it look skinny. It'd look okay if it topped out now. I'd show you a picture that I took, but I don't know how to post pictures online with my verizon phone.
