You might be able to send a pic as a text to your email.

It would work, except that I don't have a texting plan. I would rather do my business over the phone. And even if I did, I wouldn't want to pay 25 cents just to send a few pictures over to an email I already own. Maybe there's some kind of image URL I can use. Oh well.

Anyway, what I found ironic was that 432 Park Avenue was actually located on the end of West 57th street. I already knew that, but it was funny looking at "432 PARK AVENUE" in bold and having another building that said "(some number) West 57th Street".

The new building, 432 Park Avenue, is not located on West 57 Street, but is on the east side. The building you mentioned with the same address is on the west side of 57 Street. Fifth Avenue, the north/ south running avenue, is the dividing street between the east and west addresses of streets in the grid system in Manhattan.

As a side note, I wonder if anyone else is having problems with the 432 Park Avenue website, which appears split in half, with no references to the construction, amenities, etc. and non-functioning links.

Yes, it seems like the website is messed up at the moment. Rather embarrassing if you ask me.

I doubt the people that actually buy property in this building even care about the website. They don't even deal with that aspect of life I bet. They have "people" to do that for them.

McSky,

How were you able to get the screenshot of the core rise? The website seems to not be working correctly.

I have seen that people have been having trouble with the 432 Park website, but it has looked normal to me all day.

Here's the view today from my place at the corner of 57th Street and 1st Ave:

If you look closely at the tower for the 57th St crane, you can see the operator making his commute to work - click this for a full-size image: http://imageshack.com/a/img69/5183/1bge.jpg

Here's a wider view:

It's been incredible to see the building grow from your window. Thanks for sharing!

Wow, the original MetLife Tower has been surpassed by this. And to believe that building was once the tallest building in the world, from 1909-1913.

I already thought it would rise today.
So now it's indeed the 38th tallest in NYC and the 117th tallest in the US.
Btw, @ SMCYB: I count 4 Times Square as being 246.6m/809ft.
2 more core jumps and it will be one of the 100 tallest buildings.

I hear ya. That building originally had a stubby antenna before they added the tall one. The roof is actually lower but the sign structure seems like a part of the building to me.

These shots were taken on new years eve on the rooftop of my office building, which is more or less level with the black tower in the foreground, enjoy!

That diagram for 4 Times square is off. It's 809 feet tall.

Actually, I think it's correct. Here's a photo of the midtown skyline. Compare it to other nearby buildings.

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...e_Building.jpg

And here's a photo of it with the original antenna. That was what was measured at 809 feet. Then the addition to the antenna was added. The real roof is where those semi-circular corners are.

Nice office view! I probably won't get anything done but watch 432 PA rise and day dream.
