The Mercantile Building. When it was built, it was the fourth tallest tower in the world.

I just find it odd that CIM would actively maintain the live cams for over a year, but just as 432 Park starts to break out in the skyline, they drop the ball. The 59th Street camera has been dead for about a week, and the 53rd Street camera hasn't been adjusted upwards in weeks.
McSky,
I agree. Yesterday, before leaving work, they had the 53rd St cam showing this view:

I was happy that they finally raised it. This morning, to my surprise and consternation, they reverted to the previous view. Hard to understand.

It is very cold in New York right now. Progress will be slow until it warms up a bit.

the temperature in Manhattan is well below freezing. It has been for a few days and will be for the rest of the week.

The temperatures will be very cold for the remainder of January, perhaps into early February. Also, there will be multiple snow threats, with the next being Saturday, maybe Monday, then towards Super Bowl weekend. Nothing significant right now, but SB weekend needs to be watched. So yeah, cold sticking around for a while

That's not really true, it's one of the few cities in which 223m is not impressive but there are a couple others.

Dubai, Milan, Tokyo, etc.

I'm getting really pissed that they won't adjust the cams. I miss watching this.

You can still see the progress using the 59th Street cam. I do agree, however; they need to raise the 53rd Street cam!

Forgot about Dubai. Of course, the Burj Khalifa is there. And Milan. How is that tall?
Here's a picture of Milan:
