The core... she has risen!

(SSP)

ps - I don't know what's up with the rendering of 50 West Street at 700 feet but the listing at 783.

Technically 50 West Street shouldn't even be in there because it was never taller than 432.

Yeah, I think it will be the most-photographed not-famous tower. The one virtually no one will be able to name, but which will garner lots of "Oh wow, look at that" remarks.

Although, I think One57 will likely stay high on the list, if just for the fact that it's so prominent from Central Park. Already, most CPS skyline photos naturally center on it (and when 111 and 217 W. 57th rise, it'll still be at the center of that cluster). 432 Park will probably be in many of those photos too, but less commonly as the focal point.

But thats often standard in the USA. The boxy design prevail in the United States.
Maybe it's a tradition?

Btw, it seems the formwork is rising too. Nice thing.
In two more core jumps it will rise above the 59th cam and I don't think that webcam can go any higher.

Boxy = more profit, more available air rights utilized. In NYC, land is expensive and developers like to utilize the space to the max.

SMCYB, because the buildings left to surpass in NYC are running out, you should also include buildings in the US. Here are the buildings that were surpassed with this jump:

It is now the 18th tallest in NY, 48th tallest in US, and 239th tallest in the world.

billgates, you have completed a hostile takeover of my business and all I ask in return is a few shares of your stock. I would like to point out that your operating system seems to have compressed the file... you might try making sure the image is reproduced in actual size.

It's ~240m, and yes we are, you could also add roughly 4.75m to the height for every jump,
