I have been following the construction process almost continuously of 432 Park Avenue for quite some time, and recorded events as the tower continues to rise. I have created a CAD drawing, with some dates of events and information.

This north/south building section was redrawn from a post I saw some time earlier, comparing the complete building alongside where we are currently.

hunser,

I have created a PDF file that can be viewed of my drawing. I am not sure it can be posted here, can it? If so, I'd be happy to share it.

I didn't know there's a restaurant up there, is it open to the public?

Also, sorry for the off topic but how do you post SSP diagrams? I tried once and the properties just lead you to the main page.

There was at least a bar because I think we were not dressed up enough to eat at the restaurant so we had a drink.

I copy and paste into paint to make the diagrams from ssp and then I use postimage

I see. You can post the pdf -link here, but no the file per se.

When I do an SSP comparison picture like that I just use -PrtScn- (keyboard, pc) and then some image editor for editing (e.g. paint, photoshop) and then upload the picture in to some online free picture hosting service (e.g. postimage.org) and then link the picture from there.
Simple.

Hopefully this works of my drawing for 432 Park Avenue. First click on the link, then click on the drawing, which will open in another window within the site. Click on the plus sign on the lower right of the drawing, and it will open full-size. It is a large drawing (I drew it to fit a 42X30 sheet).

As for Marcatio, I think your diagram looks Great!

This is spectacular. THANK YOU so much for putting the time and energy into making it, and for sharing it with us.

For anyone having trouble getting the full-size version, for me it worked when I clicked the "Download" link in the Media Options box on the right hand side of the Photobucket page.

And if you haven't seen it full-size yet, you are in for a treat.

Great work!!! Thanks for sharing. I don't know what line of work you're in, but if it is architecture related, this a great drawing for a portfolio.

Thought 432 looked great on cam this morning with the sun shining on its gleaming facade! The glass panels look great dark contrasting against the white concrete

Is the 57th Street crane coming down? And if so, are they putting another crane on the tower like they did on the 56th street side?

In my opinion, this building gets a 6 out of 10. One of its positives is the clear contrast, and thus visibility, of the windows. It gives it some scale, as opposed to an all glass building. Otherwise it's still a box.

I agree, less height would've helped this building look halfway decent.
