This might have been posted in this thread already, but if you look closely, you can see 432 peeking out in this picture. That's a long range of visibility!

The floorplates of the deceased Singer Building measured only 19.5 metres (64 feet) across. For comparison's sake, how small are the floorplates of 432 Park Avenue supposed to be?

93.5 feet, square.

By my calculations, the core takes up about 15.5% of each floor's square footage (full core floors, not those near the top, where the core is smaller due to fewer elevators). Measuring the blueprints, the core came out to 41'9'' by 38'4'', or 1,602 sq ft. The whole floor is 8,742 sq feet, so the non-core space per floor on floors with the full-sized core is 7,140 sq ft.

For high floors with the smaller core such as 85-88, the full-floor penthouses have 8,055 square feet of floor space.

Floors 91-96 (with an even smaller core) have 8,255 square feet.

The tower is not that thin, @30x30m is rather decent. The ratio make it look so thin.

At ~150m in a "normal" city would look massive.

Is about as Chrysler Building upper part, and not much thinner than those Dubai Marina residentials.

Indeed, it is wider than 1717 Broadway and 20 Exchange Street. But it goes straight from the ground to a flat roof more than twice as high as most buildings with this width.

we have reached the 250 meter mark being 250.3 meters or 821 feet!

-CitySpire Center
-One Chase Manhattan Plaza
-4 Times Square
-MetLife Building

It has now also taken over 56 Leonards final height by ~10cm!

Making it the 11th tallest in the city!

Costruction of Pentominium will restart in Q3 this year. So the tallest residential tower will be located in Dubai again.

Is it actually? I thought the developer fled the country and abandoned it?
