This is one of my favourite buildings going up. Its a very rare occasion to see New York get a new tallest building.

Tallest by roof height, not pinnacle.

The cams have zoomed out, hopefully it stays this time, I'm guessing we'll see a core rise today

But it feels like the tallest when you look at it, because the tower itself is taller.
A skyscraper with a roof hight of 400m looks taller than a skyscraper with a roof hight of 300m and 150m spire...

new core jump!

Now it is taller than 8 Bruce street. We still need 3 more jumps to surpass Citicorp.

Not really, the difference of the roof height of 1WTC and 432 PA is just 10 meters, add the communication rings and there's no difference. I do agree though this one might appear taller than it really is if you're standing near to it because of the extreme slimness (although from further away, it will be obvious 1WTC is the taller building as well).

It won't be for long... and it's not rare, NY will have seen at least 3 new tallests this decade.

1WTC - 1373' (1400 with crown)
432 park - 1397'
Nordstrom Tower 1430' +
Hudson Spire - ???

I agree, The communications ring make 1WTC a 1400 foot building in my opinion.
