'official' according to one particular organisation, which I refuse to listen to. In particular, SEG Plaza in Shenzhen definitely has spires, not antenna.
Also, the Patronas twins being the worlds tallest on a technicality, where any other way you look at it, it is clear that Willis Tower is taller.
The fact is, where a structure should be measured up to is an opinion.
In my opinion, the 1WTC antenna in particular should NOT count as a spire, it looks like an antenna, I would say even more so than the antenna on Willis Tower. I won't count it as a spire until they put the cladding on it.

Back on topic:
The dimensions of 432PA is almost exactly the same as one of the Twin Towers divided into quarters vertically, or the width to height ratio is the same as putting one twin on top of the other!
I really hope I am able to go to New York one day. It will be years in the future, so who knows what New York will look like by then!

It was a beautiful weekend in New York. It seemed like the entire city was in the park!

You can see from my perspective that 432 will dominate the landscape east of the park. It should be spectacular.

The nearby images are the back of townhouses on the next block to the south. If your interested, the value of these is presently ~$50-80,000,000.
I own a full floor apartment in one but because it has been divided the value of each unit is far less.

Thanks for letting us know about your wealth. I suggest you sell that floor and move into 432 Park. That's a view I'd like to see.

It would be incredible to have a Skyscrapercitizen inside 432 Park. Just imagine the breathtaking skyline shots we would get

Can somebody update a list of how many more jumps it will take 432 Park Ave to pass the remaining skyscrapers in NYC and to topping out.

This building is going to look so blue on sunny days, that did not come across at all to me from the renders. I like it though.

Does the glass higher up have any covering on it or is that what we're getting as the finish?

I think that glass has covering, as far as I've heard the final glass will be black.

It'll look blue still, but a bit darker.

How tall is it already? Half of the size of when it is going to be completed?

Yeah, I've noticed on other parts of the tower, that many of the windows appear to have a blue coating. I think they've just started using the blue, clear type as a replacement for the white coverings on the lower floors. Who knows why exactly, but we've seen one or two totally exposed windows and they're a much different color.

About 860 feet (265 meters) currently, a bit more than half (~700 feet or 213 meters was half)

Probably Empire State Building. 0-440m in like a year and a half.

Of course, if you want to include proposals, Skycity is said to be going up in less time to almost twice the height. That said, Skycity is a pipe dream and will never rise, so 432 Park will be up there with the quickest.
