All ultrafast (300m+ per year):

Guangzhou Fortune Center

Nanjing Youth Olympics Center

Tianjin World Financial Center

Wuxi The Wharf Times Square

Not completed yet but at that ultrafast pace:

Love the elegant simplicity of the design, but was surprised going by it on Friday with a friend that the main tower is not actually on the street wall but I guess what will be a smaller retail building in front is. Still no taking away just how breathtaking it has become as it quickly rises well into the Manhattan Skyline near Central Park.

My friend and I have similar tastes and we were rating towers and found so many of those put up from the 1950's on so inferior. Tall, massive, very corporate or uninspired except for a couple like at Rockefeller Center which we greatly admired. So many of the neighboring towers to 432 Park just don't belong anywhere in the same class. A few older towers though that had been from the pre- glass era that still really stood out in a positive way though to keep up our spirits, along with all seeing 432 Park and the almost finished, glorious 0ne57.

Ah, figures......... Rockefeller Center was completed in 1939 and was probably the last great tower project in the city for years...not after 1950. My bad!

Not to be difficult, but 380m actually. Since the antenna was added the 50s.

I completely agree with you, that's the same measurement method I use. Roof height for buildings (skyscrapers and observation towers) and pinnacle height for structures (skyscrapers, observation towers, chimneys and guyed masts)

Btw, somebody asked for the current height. It is 269 meters or 884 feet

not the first time it's snowed in April. Not surprised given the bad winter we had.

If you're asking, you and your extended family's lifetime salaries combined can't afford it.

It looks okay at its current height. Suffice to say, it's better than the chunky white thing in the foreground. Are they taking pieces cube by cube from that and stacking them on top of each other to build this?

The cladding covering pattern looks like an inverted Russian flag!

^You take some of the most amazing pics! Great job and many thanks. Cheers!

These pics really show how great this tower will be. Excited to see this rise higher and reach the stars. Lol

The blue you are seeing still has a covering on it, you can see the actual glass color if you check out the 56th street cam showing the base.

It will not be nearly that "blue"

I wonder if we will see a core jump today.

We will not see a core rise until the crane is raised to the next new level. As it sits currently, the rear counterweight would interfere with the core form. Currently, there appears to be a balance weight on the hook, which I presume indicates an impending crane rise. Due to windy conditions, the crane was in an out-of-service condition for most of today. It appears that now the winds have died down enough to allow a possible crane rise.
