Those will stick out too... The difference is too big.

To be clear - I'm not complaining. NYC needs a push to another level. Time will fix those disproportions eventually.

This exact angle of view I wanna see when the tower is completed. It will be awesome ! ...Will inspire some home runs for sure.

(...and to dexter2...) The taller the better... Definitely.

This was an extremely cold winter, so nature may be lagging behind

In germany it's exactly the opposite at the moment. It's green everywhere since the end of March

Last year was the other way round. At least it wasn't that bad that it slowed down construction very much.

It's normal for the large trees in NYC to take until early May to green up. Plenty of frosts have occurred in the second half of April over the years, which would be hazardous to new foliage.

Please take the economic discussions and foul language elsewhere...moderators where are you???

Back on Topic...

Today they are unloading several truck loads of large mechanical/ventilation equipment. These seem destined for the top floor of the Park/56 retail building. It is interesting that The entire top floor (four) of this structure is mechanical with much larger and extensive equipment than the structure below warrants. It appears that this equipment will be servicing the entire below grade floors at least those fronting on 56 and not just the three story retail building.

Also lots of pouring going today...making up for lost bad weather days

I don't get why they keep moving the cams so often even when they are already well positioned.

The foliage isn't far behind normal for New York. Maybe a week at most. NY is colder than big parts of north western Europe in spite of being further south. That's the difference between being on the western edge of a continent and being on the eastern edge of a continent.

The two green windows are the only windows WITHOUT protection...
The blue ones have BlueGuard on them

New York was drastically colder this winter, and I think that it was the 9th coldest winter in the history of New York. And WOW was it cold. Usually the trees become green in Mid-April, but I don't usually notice until May. But this year the trees have become green so late I even noticed. Even the trees in the 911 Memorial are still barren (as far as I know).

And are the windows are supposed to be green or are the two green windows supposed to have Blueguard on them? Because I don't know what Blueguard is and it doesn't make sense that the windows would have TWO sources of protection.

I don't like the look of that green and think it wouldn't fit in at all..... I hope that's not really the color.

I think he refers to the clear ones below the green, they have a more blueish color cast and seem to be free from coating.
