How do you think if it's rising until 1000 m? It will be the real chimney But I love the design, very unique

I don't think it is deserving of being called "unique". The only thing unique about it is its slim height.

I don't see any similarities with a chimney.

The most unique thing about this building is its ability to polarize opinions.

People really think this building is not unique? Please give me examples of other buildings with such an extreme height to width ratio and huge windows please

For reference, this will be the view from Central Park when 432 Park Avenue is finished. Wow! What a stunning vista!

Three floors above the glass on south side you see a netting; the floors above and below the netting are the last mechanical levels(49 and 50). It is every 12 apparent levels next two will 63 and 64

It's now clearly visible from the Sheraton Tribeca web cam. From this angle it might even eventually "reach" the same level as the ESB outdoor observation deck.

I thought this picture was maby a little bit exaggerating... So nice though it would be if it would become so tall...

...So I thought it would in reality be more something like this:

But it sure is tall still. (hope I'm wrong and it really is taller)

But Isn't that a bit too much ?

If I am counting right (if the mechanical floors are where the nettings are) then there should be (only) 30-32 floors left to go... Depending on where you start to count...

the actual glass is green, the GREEN glass you see has NO coating on the outside, when you see BLUE you are seeing BlueGuard protective film. When you see WHITE it is a heavy protection film When you see BLACK (the lower level below the two GREEN windows) you are looking through unprotected windows to the black (dark) interior. The two GREEN windows have a white wall behind them so when the light shines on them you are seeing the actual color of the glass...I walk by the building several times a day and have seen it in every form of light. If you go back to when the first windows were put in I said at the time they were swimming pool green...go look a the building and see for yourself. I have also looked a them when still on the trucks...Green

Great photos streetscapeer! At that distance you really get a sense of how tall this building is getting, and what an impact it will have on the skyline at full height!
