so 330.6 meters!

It will probably carry on at such a fast pace due to warmer weather and thinner core walls!

The architect or the investor just wanted to have one of the highest buildings in New York .. the design didnt play a roll .. and that sucks ....... in my opinion

I think so. I seem to recall that at the top, the core psi drops to 12,000, so this could increase construction speed.

At the rate it's been going, it averages about 100ft or so per month and right now the core jumped to 1085ft, so I'm gonna say around September-ish.

If Apple somehow got into designing skyscrapers, it would look like 432 Park. Their design philosophies complement each other perfectly.

Minimalism is not good for supertalls. the height of 200 or 250 metres in combination with minimalistic architecture would be quiet good ... but a supertall with 426 meters AND minimalism ... that does not fit

just look at the pictures .. there are about 100m missing ... the building is looking like s*hit in the moment and when there are another 100m on top .......... this is crazy ... and will look like a huge, skinny, minimalistic stick

That is your opinion. It's wrong to say there was no design.

I'm not going to argue the design either way, but I could see this eventually becoming one the cities' most iconoclastic buildings, because of its simple form and height. Amongst non skyscraper fans the plain rectangular box form is probably the most associated shape with stereotypical skyscrapers, the "wedding cake" style skyscrapers being a close second. Thus to people just walking through the city, this building will more strongly evoke the term "skyscraper" than any other in the area, including, in my opinion, One57.

I disagree. The average folk don't care about minimalism and symbolic space and all that mumbo jumbo that philosophical architects crow about. For them to be wowed they have to find something either impressive in scale or impressive in aesthetic. Chrysler and Empire State fulfill both of those criteria. Sears Tower gets by only on scale. I think if 432 becomes famous it will be solely because of scale, not because of its simple form. The average American is also not a skyscraper enthusiast. One of my best friends took a picture in front of the American Radiator Building and labeled it on Facebook as "In front of the Empire State Building!". Only a few of us pay that close attention. The vast majority couldn't tell you the Brooklyn Bridge from the Tappan Zee.
