Those window openings are 11' wide, according to the blueprints, and the concrete verticals are 4' wide.

11' x 6 window openings = 66'

4' x 7 concrete verticals = 28'

total = 94 feet, very close to the stated 93.5' width of the tower.

It's just OK. But yeah, Vinoly surely could have done better than this. I mean, with his talent, he could have designed something more memorable. The developer must have really wanted this style of building. I think NY deserves better but the zoning limits creativity in design because you are given an envelope and have to design around it.
