One57 still dominates from there, but not for long. Once the other 57th st towers rise (especially 225) One57 will look small

Yesterday they raised the crane, and today they already did a new jump!
With that the building is at 1193.5 ft (363.77 m) and 77 floors!

So almost 1200 ft, and only four more jumps to catch the Empire State! That should happen by the first half of august.

This picture is taken from the 102nd floor observatory of the ESB (the taller one, at the top of the "spire" of the ESB.
I made a capture of the picture at the maximum resoltion, you can see how it is almost at level with that observatory, at the top of the ESB
BTW with the crane jump, its operator is now finally looking DOWN at the ESB.

Providing the crane doesn't get in the way again
This tower is rising so fast now! It's probably due to a great combination of warm weather and the core walls being thinner than lower down, it wouldn't surprise me if we saw another core jump on Saturday
Also I think we're currently on a mechanical floor, or will be very soon which means we won't be held up by them anymore!

They're using Doka's Staxo 100, uses couplers and quick release. Gives fast cycle times for the GC

So close to reaching Empire State! That will be an historic day when it surpasses it; and yes we are on the last two mechanical levels 77 and 78!

Yes, 432 PA will be the:

- fourth building surpassing the ESB (after the South and North Towers of the former WTC and current 1WTC).
- fourth building in NYC surpassing the roof height of 400m.
- first building surpassing the roof of new (and old) WTC.
- highest roof in the history of NYC once it's t/o.
- New York's current 7th (4th to the roof) supertall.
- tallest residential building in NY and in the US.
- tallest residential building in the world for a brief time when t/o.
- ...

Lots of records there ...

First building ever to surpass the ESB in Midtown. I think this is a milestone as well.

4th to the roof after what buildings? I thought that 432 will be the tallest in NYC to the roof.
