Right and yes I would agree with you. Definitely more massive from a distance

A partial core rise, the crane is on the way.
Right there to surpass ESB...

No 'style'? No $hit! What do you think minimalism is about? I guess Vinoly should have bedazzled this one.

I'm not a big fan of this building's design, but I AM a big fan of this comment.

When was the last core jump? It feels like it has been awhile.

Indeed, taste is subjective. I learned that from Kanto and his unique taste for what defines beauty in architecture lol

I agree that it is ugly. Blase is a good term as well. As for your comment about something straight out of the war years, I have to negate. I get your generalization but you can't downgrade those towers to this one's level. Most those towers had character and charm as they were Art Deco. And they were cladded in full brick and not concrete.

They're on the transfer floors. They always take longer. I'm sure it will start rising again by next week.

Maybe Msradell meant the cold war years.

Oh, so they're on the last pair of mechanical floors. No wonder this tower hasn't surpassed ESB yet.

I think this tower is all NY.
Couldn't see it anywhere else.
When the orange meshes are gone and it's all glass to the top, shimmering in the sun we'll talk.
