The core has jumped making this 382.75m or 1,255.74 feet!

This has now overtaken the Empire State Building and is the second tallest in New York!

9 jumps left till top out!

Indeed it jumped, but I think it is even taller than that!

Last complete jump was on august 1st, then on august 11 th they did a partial jump. But today (or maybe between last night and this morning), I think that they complete that partial jump and then made a whole new one, putting the core at 1271 ft / 387.4 m

Here is the image between august 7th and today. You can also see that they did two perimeter jumps and the core looks the same above it.

Ok i was just going to point out that the perimeter is at 80 now and the core looks taller than one level above it. Seems that is the case! Level 82...8 levels left!!

CCs77, you must be right then! Seeing as the raised the crane half way through the night or whatever, seams reasonable to of finished the previous core rise before this!

I think it's because of the big windows but it does not look taller than ESB. Only until you get ESB in the picture frame.

Does anyone know how tall that crane is at the top?? I'm trying to imagine the height of 432 when it reaches the tip of the crane in that pic above. If in fact the top of the core is is currently 1271' in height.

Looking absolutely insane.... in a good way. I really don't think its awkward like many members feared it would be.

I always wondered what a building the size of the WTC would look like in midtown, now I know and it's pretty awesome.
