I don't know exactly, but it takes about five jumps to reach the crane once it is raised. With the cabin about one floor above the core when it catches the crane. It already made one jump, so there are four left. So I guess the cabin is at a height of about 1350ft right now.

So these views are from 1271 ft, the height of the building now. That is the view the workers at the top of the core are having.

Apologies for the slightly old picture.

432 Park Avenue will be the highest residential building in the western hemisphere. For the perfect shoot of the project our photographer had to climb on a crane –
where he was rewarded with a fantastic view over Manhattan. Enjoy!

These views get old fast. After a while people living there won't even notice them.

Many Flickr photos are not being posted properly on this thread. We have to stay on good terms with Flickr in order to keep using them.

Nah. Don't believe that for a moment. The people who buy these are yearning for those views, and from there, you'll be able to see whats going on almost everywhere in the city, and on the Hudson. You'd be able to have morning coffee whilst watching the Ocean Liners coming in under the Verrazano bridge, or watch people relaxing in the park on a summers afternoon, or even just watch the sunrise and sunsets about 10 minutes before everyone else sees them.
You'll have ringside seats to every new building going up across Manhattan and beyond as well.

Will they spend all day every day with their noses pressed against the glass...maybe not... but the views will never 'get old'.

Isn't that the height of the highest apartment floor?

It appears that the removal of the protective film has begun on the lower floors. Can be seen on the 56th Street cam from 432 Web site.

I think the height of the highest apartmet floor is 1286.5 ft (where the top of the core is right now)

I borrowed the drawing made by marcatio to show where the building is right now. There is very litttle left.

It seems that there will be only five core jumps more to do, since the last two floors don't have core.

There are 10 perimeters jump more to top out. I think that will happen during the first half of october.
