From that point, on Whitestone Bridge, it is already the king of the Skyline. Looks cool how it is at the center with the other buildings descending from it...

My three story 120 year old Victorian house has 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and occupies only 2,990 square feet. I'll wager the apartment has a laundry room, media and/or rec room, and LOTS of closets ...

It has relativelly big spaces, a big living room and kitchen and a office-library space. But one thing that ocupies a LOT of space are the master bathrooms (yes in plural) because it has "her" and "his" bathroom. I find that pretty weird and a waste of space, I'd rather use all that area used in another thing, but I guess that sells... Oh, the rich people....

Here you've get the floor plane of the apartment.
You'll find this and the other apartments still available here: http://432parkavenue.com/availability.html

Not getting annoyed by your wife while she readies herselfes in the bathroom is almost priceless, so I'm not surprised rich dudes go for seperate bathrooms

I was in the boogiedown for the Yankee game today. 432's visibility from the north is incredible.

Wow, great shots. Anyone know where that first one is taken from? I can't quite make out the street signs. Just love love love the diversity of architecture gathered together in one frame (not to mention the vast leap in scale from the humans in the foreground to the monsters in the background).

Well, even though 432 Park does take away some of the ESB's dominance over Midtown, I'd say it doesn't really dwarf it. It will require a more massive and/or a higher tower to do that. I believe once One Vanderbilt along with Nordstrom are up, this will seal the deal, but not before that.

ZippyTheChimp,

Those are fine photos you posted. I always enjoy scenes like this, showing off the rich diversity of NYC. The first photo was taken looking north on West Broadway. The Grand Soho Hotel sign seen on the left is between Grand Street and Canal Street.

There is a good deal of foreshortening in the photo, as I can see a little of the Bobst Library at NYU, the Lincoln Building on 42 Street, The Met Life Tower on 23 Street, the former headquarters of Bear Stearns on Madison Avenue, all with 432 Park Avenue standing tall in the center.

Seconded! If you've ever shared a bathroom with a woman, you'd opt for two if you could afford it.

Nice images, it is really starting to dominate the skyline. I hope it encourages more taller buildings to be built.

They aren't that close to ESB that they will have a huge impact on it.

Today, it appears that the perimeter spandrel beams are being poured with the CPB and bucket. Columns and core were poured yesterday (8-21), with the core form rising this morning.
So, we have 10 more floors to go. If we consider 1floor/week ratio, building will be toppled out by 1 November?
