Now imagine that view in 5 years. 220 CPS, 225 West 57th, Tower Verre, 111 West 57th, and maybe a few smaller buildings will block most of that Central Park view probably.

Pretty cool picture, I wanted to see how 432 looks from the 102nd floor observatory of the ESB, it shows how it is already at a higher level, even as seen from the highest observation deck of the ESB. Altough we already knew that it surpassed the ESB, it is different when you actually experience it through a picture that just knowing it. It is the first building that breaks the horizon line as seen from the top of the ESB (looking north, that is)

They reposioned the up the 53rd st camera, so we can see top. But now we can't see any of the city skyline, just sky and the building, making it some surreal view, it looks like the building is floating in heaven or something like that.

I tried to post these pics yesterday, but imgur took so slow to upload. All photos by me.

My best guess is that pic was taken out in the Rockaways across Jamaica Bay, which would be about 12 miles as the crow flies.

I think it's from the Long Island Sound to the northeast of Manhattan. Your distance guess sounds right though.

Yeah it's from the sound I checked the Flickr account. It's taken at Greenwich Point Park (Tod's Point) in Greenwich, Connecticut about 26 miles away from midtown Manhattan.

You're right; that makes more sense since it was obviously taken closer to 432 Park than to 1WTC.

I was going to say the Westchester or Connecticut shoreline.

Greenwich, Ct. is one of the richest towns in the world. How many suburbs have Tiffany's in their downtown high street?

From that distance the building appear to be a lot wider and a lot shorter.
