Now, more than 40 years later, we're currently in what will probably be New York's greatest boom of new space; be it office or residential. The Hudson Yards, the new WTC towers, 57th-"Billionaires Row", GCT FAR rights approved (partly) and new residential towers popping left and right ranging anywhere between 500'-1,400' (122 Thames St.).
We are so lucky, and especially now with the use of the Internet, to be experiencing such new builds of grandiose proportions. This is nothing, this is just the beginning of what will be a city looking almost like Coruscant in our lifetime.
We have alot coming, including hudson yards and the buildings around the highline. It will be NYC reborn.

We cant forget that the largest change in past ten years actually prolly happened in Brooklyn. Its amazing considering that if all boroughs were their own cities Brooklyn would be the third largest city in the US.

Edit: I'm not sure if it's the same guy but he still also got to the top of 432.

As far as contractors, there would be a slew of them: demolition, excavating/foundation, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, superstructure, fire protection, security, etc, etc, etc., as a previous poster mentioned.
Do we have a opening date for this building.

You should just follow him on Instagram and find out! (UN: demidism)

This guy rolls with a whole crew of people who sneak in to towers at night and take amazing pictures. Some of their comments can be a bit crass... but hey what do you expect? They're probably all 17.

So it's going to surpass 1WTC soon?

Seems like redneck is the go-to for name calling someone who doesn't like the building of your choice. Will have to remember that for future discussions if I'm to fit in.

There's a reason for that.

People who overly-simplify things without caring to see the merit of such a design, is like a redneck talking about a modern art masterpiece.

"Is jussa buncha lines, Cletus! Hah kin 'nyone call't art?"
"Woosdis Pee-caysso? A fahv y'r ol' kin draw better'n that!"
