Theres a lot of Dubai sitting empty as well for much the same reason. Thats one bubble that is all ready to burst, spectacularly.



Mind you, the Empire State Building was nicknamed the Empty State Building for much of it's initial years with a 77% vacancy rate. ( again for the same reasons...the great depression hit hard ).

Right, sorry, I should've been more specific -- I was hoping someone might know what building. If it happened to be somewhere open to the public, I would for sure make a point to visit on my next trip out.

Possibly from 90 Sands Street a.k.a Jehovah's Witnesses Dormitory, 30 story residential highrise that stands right behind the J Condo building, but yeah that view is amazing
