You know the basic floorplan of this tower looks smaller than the Chrysler building ? I often lament the old iconic skyscrapers of New York went into disrepair or held on because they were landmarks...but all of them should be converted into luxury apartments...these new towers show that is a good outcome.

I don't know any iconic skyscrapers in NYC that ever "went into disrepair".

Office rents in the Chrysler Building, BTW, are extremely high, and I doubt that tower would ever be converted to residential. That makes no sense, especially considering the location.
