Curious, but I actually know about a lady who did win three times the jackpot in Lottery.

That is a really good picture. Wonder what the camera was.

ESB always looked shorter than the old WTC, but now it's in the middle of two taller buildings so the effect is even more enhanced. It's still one of the greatest skyscrapers of all time.

I'm no Sherlock Holmes, but I'd wager the picture was taken in the late summer.

As to the other folk loving the picture quality... go to the thread-page link I put up and see much more by the same guy. ( of various buildings throughout Manhattan )...

The pics were shoot before the whole building topped out.
Core is finished on that pictures (you can see the flags), but the last four stories of the fassade are missing.

So they are probably 4-5 weeks old.

This is the view from Major Deegan Expy, just above Bruckner Blvd, Bronx.
Interesting that ESB looks diminutive compared to 432.

I was walking around 432 the other day and it is totally amazing. As you approach it, it becomes monumental. It reminds me of the monolith in 2001, almost otherworldly and at the same time it looks back to historic Gotham style especially in the window grid pattern. The grid pattern is totally NY, as opposed to London and Paris where the predominant window style is tall open casements. You can't really call any aspect of this fibonacci because of the all the square patterns but it has the same sort of sense that makes it fell like it belongs.

In my mind this puts Vinoly in same class as Gehry, Foster, Diller Scofidio + Renfro. Wait a minute, I think that I'm getting carried way here, only time will tell if that's so.

I like this picture. It's glassier/more futuristic than NYC usually looks like. One57 looks good there too.

I got some pretty good shots of 432 Park Avenue on my last visit to NYC, here's a few of them:

I just love this one, it's like 450 Park Avenue is trying to protect its younger (and much taller) new neighbor!

The answer is clearly global warming combined with the impact of all these new mega-tall skyscrapers. Longer shadows means less sun exposure so now each tree has taken longer to process its summer growth before shedding the dead leaves. It's a phenomena unique to Central Park and one other urban greenspace in Berlin.

Course, the others might be right in that it was simply taken months ago.
