Why not 5 years?

In 5 years there will be another 10 or so supertalls, at minimum three of them taller than 432 Park, and so obviously this one supertall won't stand out.

No, there is no place available for building new skyscrapers.

They have already demolished a couple of buildings for these new ones (like Nordstrom and Steinway) but since there's not much space New York's gonna get a lot of really thin skyscrapers (which is why WTC, Nordstom, and One Vanderbilt are special).
