I would look for an apartment with a nice view, maybe of the Hudson River or Central Park, although maybe not as spectacular as this one, but nice enough.

This building was very fun to see it grow, But I wouldn't want to live in a building where you can never ever open a window.
Anyone who can afford to live in this tower, will also have a dozen other properties, most of which no doubt have balconies, gardens and terraces.

Exactly, the people who can afford this could easily afford a gorgeous large house with a large chunk of forest of there own, they can afford the best of both worlds, and more

And here are a couple shots, also from today - really starting to look like the architect's drawings:

Does anyone know when the external lift is due to come down? Mid 2015 maybe?

Who has info about the top floor openings? Will it stay open and we can see sky, or will there be mechanical pieces showing? Or windows?

I was just in NY last Monday and it reallys stands out from almost any point of view. And I really like the blue color in the windows, maybe its just something the put to cover the windows to avoid damage and it will be removed shortly, but I think it looks good.

Demolition of some of the small buildings on 57th Street is imminent. Presumably, something will start rising here in 2012.
