If 432 and the rest of the 57th street supertalls are going to be the new definition for the 21st century Manhattan plateau, imagine what it will look like by 2100. I cannot even imagine.

While this building is not ornate in the least, I love it because it is a miracle of modern engineering.

I noticed that as well. Wonder if its an actual resident or a Construction Worker. If it's a resident, he got one hell of a floor

The 'cube' seems to be getting cladding. If anyone would take an up-close photo it would be greatly appreciated

I think this looks super elegant and pristine now that the netting is mostly off. Reminds me of the EUR in Rome, but much more vertical, obviously.

this tower's parapet will have windows and will conform with the rest of the building. Though it's not like NYC and its surrounding area doesn't have its fair share of ugly roofs...

Better to keep it simple like this than to stick some random thing on the top of a box, leave that sort of thing for Dubai Marina

It has a roof to the pinnacle. The parapet is an integral part of the roof. Solid parapets are a part of a roof just as top floor slabs or solid crowns are, so a solid parapet, like the one of this building is in no way less of a roof than a top floor slab would be
