They will probably clean it up a bit, and may even put on a light polish, but what you see, is what you get. Stunning, isn't it

While I was visiting Top of the Rock on Nov 4, I heard two tourists discussing 432 Park, pointing in her direction. They were wondering how much taller she was going to get. I walked over and asked if they were curious about "That tall and skinny tower". When they said yes, I told them about this forum and that I had been following the building's construction- the tower was topped out, but still needed roof and interior work. They thought it was pretty cool!

Odd. If you look at the latest picture you see that the top 5 floors are open. I hope someone can explain.

Either someone is going to have an infinite-height ceiling or there are a couple floor slabs still to be poured.

No its part of the architecture. In that space there is the Helipad and roof terrace. There is just a 5 floor wall all around it.

It's hard to understand how it's supposed to match the architectural diagrams which show a two-story parapet...

Sarcasm people... IDK how high the parapet will be and what's up about these half floors, but this is my way to demonstrate against controversial info. Can someone just give the right numbers so we can watch them and be inspired? Thank you.

This looks absolutely breathtaking, better than the best renders. Hard to believe this was a stump in the ground 2 years ago.

You know what, guys? The winter solstice is barely a day long. And even the places that have some sort of shadows have them for like, 20 minutes. And the lower portion of Central Park is already dark due to the 500-foot towers there. We don't not go there because of that. This could be the biased mind of a skyscraper-lover talking, or it could be a sane person making observations. Don't whine over the shadows, people of New York.
Maybe he was just referring to all the little shadows of the peoples frolicking about on the ice ;-)

It's a quasi-parapet.

The penthouse at the top of this new building on Park Avenue costs $100 million, but let me tell you what: on a cloudy day, the view sucks! 😜 by bousinka, on Flickr
