The brookfield property towers on the west side will likely be twins and just over 300 meters. Not quite the same as ~430 meters but it's something. At least they are supertall.

I do agree that if this building had a twin it would be just epic.

The best pictures will be when someone gets a shot of the sun coming thru the open air partitions.

There were one or two amateur renders (buried somewhere deep in one or more of these NY threads) where, from the East, 432 and Nordstrom do look like twins... And like the old twins, one of them has a spire!

Does anyone know when the crane will be dismantled? I'm assuming after the last windows are installed?

Also, are the mechanical floors not going to be covered with windows like the render? It's so hard to tell as I can't find any close ups to confirm what will actually be there Its been puzzling me since construction first started so if anyone has an idea it would be greatfully be appreciated :P

As depicted from the renders the mech floors will be open. They will also have the drum in the center to avoid swaying in the wind.

It's so close to being finished, but until they install the top two rows of glass, this tower is going to look a little out of harmony. I assume they'll put the parapet glass in once they finish working on the rooftop mechanicals, does that sound right to you guys?

Also, it seems like the drums are taking forever. I want those nets off asap!
