In that last pic, it looks like its photoshoped. Really out of place this building. What I do like about it though is that its not covered in glass like most skyscrapers these days.

But the ESB isn't looking like it is out of place beacause...it's been there forever? Just imagine the ESB is the new building. To my mind 432 Park Ave fits in perfectly. It is just about getting used to its appearance

Nah, ESB fits beacuse of the way it looks in relation to its surroundings...

I think 432 Park fits into the skyline at least as much as the ESB, probably even more

432 Park looks out of place because it doesn't have any sort of crown or pinnacle on it like every other skyscraper that breaks the midtown plateau, not because it's new. ESB, Chrysler, Citi, One57, even the New York Times building all have a crown, spire, or some other cap to them. 432 Park is so uniform top to bottom you could stack itself one on top of the other and it would go on to infinity, it just doesn't look right for a building of that size.

432 Park Ave is the future. That is the new future height of NY Manhattan buildings. That and ever higher ! I welcome this new "sore thumb" to the skyline. All thumbs up!!! So-> Welcome to the future !

Tell me 50 years from now, and maybe I'll like it better, but for now it's out of place. And I've never really liked buildings with no crown no matter how tall they are.

432 is amazing. It currently dominates the Midtown skyline. It started a trend of very, very tall towers sprouting on small footprints.
