Exposed Drums? Sorry, I'm trying to see what you are referring to. Can you point me to it?

Thanks

I'm cool with it, but to be honest it's really tall and proportionally narrow. I trust the architects trying something new against the NY Skyline and good luck to those who live in her interior.

I`m sorry this building has got nothing going for it at all, looks like something a child would draw. just my opinion not trying to upset anyone.I know some people get a bit silly
when you say anything negative.

I am almost inclined to agree with you but I can't fully make up my mind on this one. I think it will look great when the other skinny towers are all built, but as it is on its own it looks a little...out of place with the elegance of the rest of the skyline.

The fact that it is so huge makes up for the simplistic design. The scale of the windows alone makes it pretty unique.

Does anyone know if there will be any lighting on the drums? Because that could really add a new level of drama to the exterior at night, and it would really enhance the whole "stack of skyscrapers" effect!

Yes they did. The building was purchased by Macklowe and partners. It'll likely be for additional retail frontage.

Greetings. Long time lurker and first post. Does anyone know what they intend to do for this building at night? I understand the uppermost windows are for mechanical floors and the parapet but the dark windows in contrast to the lit living spaces make this building look awkward at night in pictures, IMO.
