1. doesn't look like they've cleaned the concrete after all. Will they?

2. why are they putting windows on the top if its mechanical?

I think it's all about aesthetics. So the machinery is not prominent and the design of the tower stays "clean". It's basically an extended facade or a parapet.

Sorry, but I don't like it. Too slim-high-ugly. It looks out of place in the wonderful skyline of NY.

When taller, slimmer buildings are constructed later (some are already under construction) it won't look out of place.

I can't believe it's almost completed! It's a wonderful addition to New York's iconic skyline.

Everytime I see this building (and I see it several times every single day), it gives me goose bumps. I think it is very beautiful and suits are skyline perfectly.

Some more interesting things happening with the windows - notice the yellowish-green lines. Anyone know what that is for?

Thank you for your amazing contribution!...I hate super skinny tall girls and ketchup on my pizza!..You have to be bored to come on a forum just to say you hate a building!what's the point?..loser attitude?
Like many forumers i am amazed by that incredible masterpiece and the first thing I do when I wake up is to check the updates:it fills me of happiness and excitement:the harmony, the minimalism of the design....It is just:WOW!!(The most defining features being the open mechanical floors(genial!)and these beautiful huge windows)
Believe me dude:a landmark is born!
