Melbourne : Docklands

De Docklands are a a former Harbour area transformed in restaurants, appartments, shops, art etc.

nice photos mate. The docklands are a former docking/industrial area that have been reborn as part of the city.

I personally think the area is a bit ugly (the stadium is especially ugly) but its only because its not even half finished yet . I think it will be nice when its finished

The docklands are promising, but have a long way to go to truely be successful.

Its great in summer, and other warmer months, with so much going on, but in the deep of winter, which is nothing by most American and European standards, it is not really that welcoing or popular. Its gets abit windy to e a real success in those months.

Theres still a lot of building work going on around, so when most of that is done, it will have a more complete look, better intergrating its strengths.
