Sorry, largest single spans are now in China - see page 2. But the Sydney Harbour Bridge is definitely bigger in bulk - I think it's the widest bridge in the world?

According to Guinness World Records it is the world's widest long-span bridge, fifth longest spanning-arch bridge, and the tallest steel arch bridge (measuring 134 metres from top to water level) in the world. All that said, it easily remains one of the best looking bridges in the world, though photographs do it absolutely no justice. Few images are able to capture the sheer size of the structure.

My favourites are those taken from The Rocks, with a bit of something in the foreground to give slight perspective,

The Harbour Bridge and Golden Gate Bridge, imo, blows all these modern bridges away

Infos and picture from Wikipedia.
Il est pas mal ce pont. En voilà deux autres : le viaduc de Millau et le pont Alexandre III à Paris. Je vous laisse trouver des photos sur google images.

How about the Manhattan bridge guys! Arguably the most impressive bridge in the world in my opinion, how did they build something this MASSIVE in 1909, I'll never know. Just think, this was built before the titanic sank.

Is that you in the last picture?

My only problem with Manhattan Bridge is that it's entrance is in China Town and the beauty of this bridge contrasts with all the signs and the hectic environment

Haha no, not me in the last pic, I'm 20 years old and much more attractive! and skinnier.

But I completely agree! I think the Manhattan bridge is the most beautiful, impressive bridge out there, yet its demeaned by it's location in Chinatown, as well as it's non-premier location in Brooklyn. And I think perhaps the saddest thing is all the graffiti on the bridge at the abutments. It's an amazing bridge, and at the abutments it has those typical 1900-style posts where it has the names of the people who helped make the bridge, yet immature douches spray-painted all over it. I also kinda dislike how subway cars always pass by when you walk on it.

Also, if you want a picture of me and an amazing bridge, this is me in the middle, a picture I took last month 20 minutes from Portland, Oregon in the Columbia River Gorge.

That bridge in Georgia is really cool, and fits perfectly into the landscape.
