ok so 1715 is concrete only?

I know the steel photos are definitely 250, because i know the outfit that is erecting the steel.

In fact, Broadway has a good "canyon effect". The new building at 260 will fill in the last major gap to complete the "canyon".

Took lots of pictures and will post later.

Is there a thread for the 260 W 55 st?

ok, went by this today and now I understand what 260 West 54th STreet (note, 54th, not 55th) is. It is a new project that will be built on top of a parking lot and hasn't even begun yet. When that gets going this site is going to be encredible. I might call it WTC North given all its activities. Through in at least one 1,000 footer on 57th Street already under construction and another possibly coming soon and it looks like north west Midtown is where the construction activity is at

Wow, that's wonderful. I am very happy that this project is growing so fast. New York is a monster, Midtown is full of buildings under construction.

Went by today at 12 noon and took some pictures. This is a concrete structure and seems to be going up more slowly than its neighbor:

Above, you can see the other building is already a couple of floors ahead of it.

Today:

Full update:

http://newyorkyimby.blogspot.com/201...-55th-237.html

& yes, seems like they're going at a floor per week. It's crazy how this, 250, and 237 are now all under construction--they should've just gone in together and built a supertall covering the entire block.

I love this tower! It´s nice, simple, slender and elegant...quite a perfect combination and a very nice addition to the Manhattan skyline.

The nice thing about it is that since it is pretty skinny it should go up very quickly.
