When people thought 'La cite du Fleuve' was the end, More investors keep coming up with more surprises. Private investment is our path to development.

I am guessing this will be built where ugly 'Port Puluku' is which will make my heart rejoice, seeing the ugly port removed from Kinshasa replaced by exactly what I wished could be there on the waterfront

I have been envisioning for the last 3 years might finally come true. I can't spend 1 single night without thinking when they will get rid of the Rotten Kinshasa Port, replacing it with exactly that kind of water front development.

This is the exact thing i been thing they should do on that site. Hotels, Condos, a Convention Center and a retail.

is going to be forced to be responsible
through investment like these...?

Yes it seems that our country know has investors interested and I do remember someone mentioning that they should build something like this.

Congo can be the richest in the world and It is the richest in world theoretically speaking in terms of minerals abundance and potentiality.

In my city here, they use the prisoners to go around picking up garbage and cleaning the city. I don't see why we don't do that in Kin.... I mean if we are to able to use state income to clean our cities why not use the man power we have. for example the prisoners.

It is the Brain they lack.

What you suggested is done everywhere.

Here people with minor offences or really short sentences can be be sentenced to Community service. If this was introduced you could have all the shegues picking up rubbish and cleaning up the place rather than wasting government money for nothing in jail.

I would have to agree with ya on that one.
But I believe Congolese love Congo. Justas a cat love its owner...
But Congo hasn't proved its self on why its should be loved .....

If you loved Congo and received millions of dollars from EU to rehabilitate schools, you would not steal a few millions from it for your selfish personal benefits.

The fact Congolese official keep putting away millions of aid money in their pockets for personal benefits reflects their lack of patriotism and Love for the country. All they think about is themselves.

Since they are the role models this type of attitude is displayed in everyone that has minor authority.

When you said Congolese don't Love Congo
I was thinking of your average Congolese.

I was referring to the leaders who run the country and make Congo be what it is ...

Even your average Congolese will only think for himself.

That is why I admire Talibans, Terrorists and Mai mai militia because of their sacrificing patriotic spirit. So much love, that money and wealth cannot interfere.

Imagine if Congo gets a superb leader that will lead the country into modernisation and development. You give a broke Congolese 6million dollars to assasinate the leader.
