Fun Fair's in South Africa

Hi All,

Besides Ratange Junction, Gold Reef City and the Durban beach front, what other fun fairs exist in SA? Anyone got any photos?

A lot of the other fun fairs are temporary, and around from city to city. One just completed here in Potchefstroom for the Spring Festival this past month-end of August. Others are found at major shows in other towns.

> Jo'burg Fest, in Easter, Nasrec.
> Pretoria show, usually around Spring, Pretoria show grounds
>Rustenburg Show, in Easter, Rustenburg show grounds.

It's not Durban Beachfront it is Ushaka Marine World. You also have SunCity.

Durban Beachfront had a fun fair...has it been removed now that they've upgraded the beachfront?

When did this happen?

While we are here....does anyone have any photos of the old beachfront funfair? The one that was there like 1982? They had the log and the swings .....

From what I understand it's still there.

Yep its still there in its kitschy funness. I think the cities long term plans are to remove it once the lease is up
