Nollywood City
Hell yeah, our very own 90210
The estate which will be located in Lokongoma in Abuja, is spread on a 240 hectares of land with 15,000 housing units. It comprises 2, 3 and 4 bedroom flats as well as 3, 4, and 5 bedrooms duplexes. it would be tastefully landscaped, meticulously maintained, exquisitely designed with palace-like edifices, shopping mall, worship centres, schools, multipurpose and conference halls, cafeteria, library, fuel stations, swimming pools, police and fire service posts and recreational areas. Each housing unit will be self-sufficient in the most functional way and for convenience; it will be a short walk away from nearby facilities like shopping malls, multiplexes, cafes and restaurants. Conceived to be one of the most comprehensive and professionally planned film production centres in the world, the estate will boast of ready facilities in all facet of film production. As first of its kind in the West Africa sub region, the Nollywood city would be well equipped with large studios for indoor shootings, recording room, a theater for live shows including outdoor shooting facilities like forested and natural vegetation and lakes. Most importantly, there would be a 24 hour security in the estate. Mike Adiku knows the caliber of personalities he has in mind while fashioning the Dream estate, so he prices security far above every other infrastructure in the estate. The construction of the houses will be in three phases, each phase involving the completion of 5,000 units of houses on 80 hectares of land. When completed, outright payment for a house would attract five percent discount while mortgage facilities would be provided.70 per cent of the houses would be exclusively reserved for Nollywood stars while the remaining 3o per cent would be open for other individuals. The streets in the estates would be named after legends in the industry and present celebrities whose work are adding immense value to the nation’s entertainment industry. The Nollywood City will accommodate two five star hotels that will be the latest wonder in the hospitality industry. One of the hotels will have 150 artistically designed rooms while the second one will comprise 60 rooms. Our double rooms and suites will be tastefully furnished with free internet facilities and personal computers in all rooms. Other features of the room will be auto lock doors and central lighting system; digital safe and coffee mixers; multiple cable television to choose from. Every minute spent in any of the rooms would be worth while as the hotels are a perfect home away from home. ![]() ![]() shopping mall ![]() ![]() hospital ![]() more renders on the website http://www.nollywoodcity.com/ company site http://www.adikuglobal.com/

Nollywood to set up N60bn Film Village in Abuja
Tuesday, 24 August 2010 20:19 Abubakar Yakubu Just like Hollywood in America and Bollywood in India, Nollywood of Nigeria has perfected plans to build a N60 billion film village at the Galadimawa area of Abuja. Speaking during the unveiling of the film village plan to the press, Chief Mike Audu of Adiku Global Limited described Nollywood as a floating industry with scattered actors and actresses all over the country. He said that such lapses posed danger for the sustainability of the industry, adding that it was the reason why Adiku Global in conjunction with the Actors Guild of Nigeria decided to build Nolloywood City (Film Village) in Abuja. According to him, the city will be mirrored after the Hollywood of America, where modern accommodation and working facilities would be provided for Nollywood stars in order to bring celebrities in such industry closer. He said the estate which would be located in the Lokogoma area of the FCT, is cited on 240 hectares of land with a plan to develop 15,000 housing units. “The houses will be developed in three phases with each phase comprising of 5,000 housing units and the houses would comprise of two, three and four bedroom flats,” he stated. He said the village will also have three, four and five bedroom duplexes, adding that provisions are there for a shopping mall, worship centres, schools, multipurpose/conference halls, cafeteria, library, fuel stations, swimming pools, recreational areas, police as well as fire service posts
