Quite a lot simpler than the churches shown above of course, but I still like it:

The baroque revival-styled Dopheide building in Oslo, Norway. Built in in 1895 with a design by the local architect Bernhard Christoph Steckmest. The first floor and the roof have sadly been simplified through the years, but there are plans to refurbish the first floor back to original at least.

Another baroque revival building in Oslo: The Sandaker building. Originally built in 1856, it was restyled into the current baroque style in 1896-97 by Bernhard Steckmest.

A picture of the still in use 19th century elevator:

The original elevation as drawn by Steckmest. The building have been slightly simplified through the years - just like pretty every building in the city.

The last baroque revival building(s) from Oslo for a while: This is actually an apartment complex standing on each side of the street opposite to each other with individual, but related designs forming a "gate". They were built between 1899 and 1900 after a design by Sigurd Reidolph Gulbransen.

The Norwegian Hafslund manor house from 1761 is consider to be baroque with some roccoco details.

... But the other tread allowed neo-baroque architecture too, whereas this one appears to only cover proper baroque.

Hey, guys. I was looking at the details of some buildings the other day and it looked as though they are Baroque (or at least influenced by the style). I was wondering if these would fall under that classification or not. If not, what are they?

American Radiator Building:

Manhattan Municipal Building (I realize some neoclassical, but looking at the turrets):

The first one is a combination of Art Deco and Gothic: http://www.nyc-architecture.com/MID/MID068.htm

I think it may have been the first completed Art Deco building in New York.

I saw that when I looked it up, but I see absolutely no Gothic influences there at all, so I'm not seeing it as a credible source. I can see some Art Deco, but its gold seems to have a really Baroque vibe.

The Manhattan Municipal Building is one of the finest examples of the wedding-cake style!

Beautiful buildings. I like the elegant, imposing style.

The old custom house in Bergen, Norway. Built in 1759 and is considered to be late baroque. The most unique feature of the building is the incompleted marble relief insert in the gable. Drawings from the time indicate that it was supposed to show a motive consisting of Mercury, Lady Justice and the royal crown It never come further than this.
