There is a copy in Berlin!

But the Alte Bibliothek in Berlin is actually the older one (1775-1780) and the Michaelertrakt in Vienna much younger (1889-1893). The original plans were made for Vienna, but they took so long to start building it, that the Berliners got ahead of them.

Yes, the von Erlach plans were not realized in Vienna until much later. To Berlin's credit, they didn't wait that long to get something up.

Salvador of Bahia, Brazil

Brazilian first capital, from 1549 to 1763, the city got its height at the end of 1600's to mid of 1700's, when, besides to be the capital of the country it was the busiest South Atlantic port. Brazil then was the world largest gold, diamond and sugar producer. The amassed wealth resulted in inposing civil and religious baroque buildings. These characteristics led UNESCO to declare the historic district of Salvador as a World Heritage Cultural site.
