To say that this is the best stadium in LA is being completely patriotic and not consider the other stadiums being built for Latin America.
I really like this stage, it is important for the advancement of the arenas used in liberating or other competitions organized by CONMEBOL.
But is not the best, even the format it does not follow the more advanced patterns.
Just take a look at some stadiums of World Cup 2014 at the National Chile, Peru's National, the Monterrey and Chivas of Mexico or in other stages such as Grêmio and Palmeiras.

That's what I think:

Ok, I don´t want to lost my time so I´ll be quickly in my answer.

1-This stadium will be the most modern in Latin American when it´ll finish in two months, no matter the FIFA WorldCup 2014 proyects or any stadium proyected in the future. This stadium will not the most modern forever just for a time.
2- This thread is about the "Estadio Ciudad de La Plata", please read the tittle and don´t post anything no releated with the proyect.

This stadium is ok., The design has a certain uniqueness but in no way it will be (at the time of its finished construction) the best or most "modern" in Latam.

That is not objective is subjective in each case, for many people, architecs and engineers it will be the most modern.

Maracana before reconstruction was already way better. Azteca, Chivas and many others are much better today. Even in la Bombonera the view is much better, only the structure is a little dameged.

The architects who said that don´t live on earth.

How can this be a mere rivalry between Brazil and Argetina?
For me this competition counts for nothing since I am an advocate of separatism from the rest of my state of Brazil.
And if by rivalry I would not be agreeing with one supporter of the rival team to me.
I'm just building on four years I attend this forum and analyze the various projects executed worldwide.

lolwut? Have you seen the inclination in the upper tiers in La Bombonera? Watching the game from the 3rd tier is almost like hanging over goalposts. The view in La Plata's stadium is much better.

Since when did South American stadiums have roofs?
Since Average annual rainfall is 1,146 mm.
