If its possible I would like to see some pictures of the area between Namik Kemal Mh and Devlet Mh.
And how does Kale Mh. look like? I saw a picture once and it looked like there where some Austrian/Dutch like buildings in wood and white plaster?

Unfortunately I don't have pics of namik Kemal or Devlet Mahllesi.
But I think I have pics of the Kale area don't you mean the neighborhoods around the castle? Well that area is awful but the city municipality started restoration works. I will show you some pics later.

I bet it is , but I really don't like that most of the city quarters are build up so monotome. Blocks, blocks and more blocks untill you reach the beltway...
So far no blocks in the pictures

I know the city is not small , It's just that it looks small... I mean that is doesn't look so metropolitan like other cities...

Ankara is not dull not more than Izmir. In some ways Ankara is even more vibrant. (Do not misunderstand me you know I love Izmir)
